Robert Priddy, former long-time head of the Sathya Sai Organization in Norway and retired academic from the University of Oslo, has recently written on J. Jegathesan, a charismatic and key leader in Sathya Sai Baba’s international cult. Although it may at first be difficult to credit that one with such a high profile in international finance and quasi diplomacy, it is nonetheless a fact that many otherwise rational human beings who occupy high public places entertain more or less private belief systems that are quite cranky. Robert Priddy has drawn attention, for example, to Jegathesan’s occult dabblings, which are a matter of public record. I have included links, along with quotes below. See also my own piece:
Quote:
It is doubtful whether the Sathya Sai Organization or one of its highest profile international leaders told the administration of St.John’s Baptist Church – Fellowship Hall 109 West Roosevelt Road, Little Rock – that their speaker, Dato J. Jegathesan, is fully committed to the belief that his guru, for whom he is a highly active roving ambassador, proclaims himself the ‘Father’ who sent Jesus Christ

Note: Dato’ J. Jegathesan, high-ranking ‘Secret Swami’ cult leader, is a highly favoured roving ambassador for Sathya Sai Baba, and deeply involved in the cover up. From various sources, we learn that he has harshly spurned outstanding individuals who, when they were members of the Sathya Sai Organization, came to him in deep distress. Among these were issues relating to sexual abuse of boys within the SSB education apparatus by Sathya Sai Baba and sexual abuse of boys by a prominent staff member about whom abuse reports from different parts of the world, continue to come. Our understanding is that proceedings of some kind have been taken out in India against this individual by a wealthy individual with Indian antecedents but although it is promised we do not have documentation.
Robert Priddy On Dato J. Jegathesan
Readers can think about Jegathesan’s account here. It is a piteous affair, but – after several years – it needs to be made public and examined (as will be done critically later) because it helps to illustrate the depth of deception in Sathya Sai Baba’s promise to protect his devotees and the emptiness of his constantly-quoted ‘Why Fear When I am Here?’ Not least, Dato’ J. Jagadeesan (alias Jegathesan) continues to promote Sathya Sai Baba as if he had not been exposed for what he truly is.
Jegathesan’s declaration was sent out internally in the Sathya Sai Organization (see here). It is legitimate to think about and question the scenario sketched after Jega’s own account. The evidence can always be regarded in various ways, remembering that there have already been a number of detailed reports of suicides by young male followers after sex abuse. More on the questions raised here will be posted later on.
Quotes commented upon, indicating confused and unconscienable beliefs of this man.
Having stated early on in his book ‘The Fourth Dimension’:”I am no expert on the question of mediums and trance situations”, he soon begins to make very definitive statements like:-”I am quite certain that these “spirits” are similarly highly evolved souls etc.”
Jegathesan has written a series of books which include many stories of healing. His last book is called “The Fourth Dimension – Sai Baba, Journey To God Part 4″. As the title suggests it is a highly speculative book. It consists in a farrago of strange experiences, often wild interpretations of them and much hearsay. All of this shows him to be a most naive and uncritical believer in witch doctors, black magic, primitive trance mediums and much else of that kind. This is rather amazing from a man who has been an economic consultant with the United Nations International Development Organization (UNIDO) and the United Nations Council on Trade and Development (UNCTAD)! However, remember that there are thousands of consultants to UN bodies, and surely few are as deluded as that.
