Anguished families and individuals have many times gone to Sai Baba’s world chief Dr Michael Goldstein of Covina California, USA, and other leaders of the Sathya Sai Organization, about harrowing accounts of Sathya Sai Baba serial sexual molestation of boys and young men from many countries, and also other greatly disturbing abuses. The Heartlessness of Sai

Michael Goldstein and Sai Baba’s officials have turned their backs on large numbers to whom was owed, with no shadow of doubt, clear duty of care. He and these servitors have been derelict. They, like their founder, have betrayed those who had served Sai Baba devotedly down many years, and had made great sacrifices in terms of service and other forms of contribution, including in cases of their life and health.

Many leaders, including top ranking ones, have stood by devoid of conscience and decency, knowing full well that their co-workers actively defame, libel, harass and attack former devotees. In some cases, they have privately ensured that certain materials be made available.  See:

Just as has been the case down the years, those who have left more recently report no cases where Sai Baba or his organization have attempted to stop this.That members can turn such a blind eye, and so stultify their hearts, and yet still claim to be loving, truthful and righteous in their conduct shows them to be a group that communities and institutions throughout the world need to be most wary of.

It is important to civil health for communities everywhere to learn not to take members of the Sathya Sai Organization, who in so many respects are decent, caring and law-abiding individuals, at face value. Indeed, society has failed to educate itself in cult awareness.

It needs to be understood that it can be difficult for individuals within the civil community in general to distinguish conservative types of cult member just as it is for the cult members themselves to perceive that they are caught up in something that is, profoundly, not what it purports to be.
